Viatran, of Grand Island, N.Y., has launched the WW517 for wastewater applications. The model WW517 is a 316L liquid level transmitter with a 3″-diameter, opened-faced Teflon-coated sensor. It’s designed for instances when the media is “chunky.?? It will be officially launched at the WEFTEC trade show at booth 3768. The new design helps stop clogging. Large particles can plug standard submersible transmitters, causing the sensor to fail. The new design of the transmitter stops this from occurring.
