Plast-O-Matic Valves Inc. of Cedar Grove, N.J., has introduced a line of Sight Glasses with Corzan CPVC connections for use in applications that require the elevated temperatures and corrosion resistance of Corzan. Sight glasses permit safe and quick viewing of the clarity and color of process liquids and also immediately identify if any foreign matter is present. A sight glass on the outlet side of a strainer, for example, can visually verify whether exit liquid is clear and free of debris.
