Argonide Corporation announces development of NanoCeram-HF(TM) high-performance pleated filter cartridges, specifically engineered and designed to address bio-contaminant issues in most water treatment applications. The design utilizes a pleated layer of electropositive filter media, wrapped around a 0.15-micron absolute hollow-fiber membrane. Each cartridge contains a pleated layer of patented, non-woven filter media matrix infused with nanoalumina fibers, creating an electropositively charged depth filter, which can produce water with ultra-low SDI (silt density index) values.
