The new Pro-Lock™ from Asahi/America, Inc. is the ideal piping system for double contained sodium hypochlorite and bleach systems. Pro-Lock works with the entire Asahi line-up of PP, HDPE, PVDF, and E-CTFE Dual contained piping options. Now users can select the system, the material and the joining technique that matches their application requirements. The Pro-Lock System consists of two separate pipes (carrier and containment) constructed of PVC and CPVC and features a unique Dogbone® fitting that locks the inner pipe to the outer pipe for proper stress control. This allows for proper termination from double wall to single wall while maintaining system pressure rating and controls thermal expansion. For added security, the Pro-Lock System can be used in conjunction with a number of leak detection methods.
