Chemicals

At the U.S. Air Force Academy, dry chlorine pucks and water pressure were used to manually chlorinate the water; however, the plant needed to eliminate the constant “human?? adjustments to the system to make sure it wasn’t over or under chlorinating. The plant turned to Houston-based Hammonds Co.’s line of water chlorination systems. It’s estimated that the chlorinator will pay for itself in approximately eight months through the use of less chlorine.
