This POE filter series is made using high-performance coconut shell carbon having more micropores compared to other types of carbon, coupled with a unique binder system that delivers a product with superior adsorption capacity and kinetic dynamics. The initial filtration solution includes three-micron carbon block, high-capacity chloramine reduction. The Water Filtration Simplified™ three-micron rated filter has been third-party tested to treat 50,000+ gallons (189,270 liters) of water at seven gpm (26.4 L/min) with three ppm of chloramine, with greater than 85 percent reduction. These carbon block filters are ideal for a wide range of residential, food service, commercial and industrial applications, and are effective at reducing unwanted bad taste and odor from potable drinking water. The filters are ideal as polishing or prefilters in applications requiring fine filtration and high capacity.
