ASSE International and Plumbers Without Borders are proud to announce the launch of their ‘Plumbing Term of the Day’ campaign. Starting on October 3 and continuing every workday morning, a plumbing term and its definition will be published on the new ASSE International ‘Plumbing Term of the Day’ blog and shared on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Each term and definition will be pulled from the ASSE International Plumbing Dictionary (Sixth Edition), which contains more than 4,000 plumbing words, terms and abbreviations. The US Senate has passed sweeping legislation addressing the nation’s water infrastructure, including authorization for US EPA’s WaterSense® program, for which IAPMO has been an important advocate. The Water Resources Development Act of 2016 (S. 2848) is a comprehensive bill addressing diverse concerns, including lead contamination, sewer overflow control, water system security, drinking water conservation and improving ports and waterways.
