The WateReuse Research Foundation and the Water Environment Research Foundation agreed to merge to establish the Water Environment & Reuse Foundation (WE&RF), effective May 6. The new entity has a combined portfolio of research in water, wastewater and stormwater valued at more than $200 million (USD). The WateReuse Association will continue to collaborate closely with the new foundation and use the research to educate policymakers and the public about the benefits of water reuse and to advocate for laws, policy and funding to increase water reuse.
