The use of purified recycled water to ensure a sustainable drinking water supply is a growing trend. The 2016 WateReuse Potable Reuse Summit will be held October 17-18 at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in Oklahoma City, OK. WateReuse will present a Potable Reuse Summit which will bring together four utilities from across the United States to share their complete experience with potable reuse from concept to operation.
Utilities from California, Georgia, Texas, and Virginia will participate in sessions and panels to discuss critical factors in the success of potable reuse projects, including addressing regulatory issues, demonstrating environmental and economic viability, and enhancing public understanding and acceptance. In addition to sessions on public health and research, participants will be taken step-by-step through the four profiled projects, including Backgrounds and Drivers; Design and Permitting; Public Outreach and Operations and Costs.
