NWRI is accepting nominations for the 23rd Annual Athalie Richardson Irvine Clarke Prize for excellence in water research. The Prize, which includes a $50,000 check and a medallion, rewards scholarly and practical achievements in water research. The Prize acknowledges an individual actively contributing toward any of the following areas: the discovery, development, improvement and/or understanding of issues associated with water quality, quantity, technology or public policy.
Nominations are due April 1 and will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
· Active engagement in current research and/or policy endeavors
· Professional career accomplishments
· Demonstrated excellence through research and/or policy contributions
The award will be presented at the Clarke Prize Conference and Award Ceremony in early November in Orange County, CA. More information, including the nomination guidelines and application cover sheet, may be found at the NWRI website.
The deadline for the NWRI 2016-2017 Fellowship Program is less than a month away! Full-time graduate students conducting research in the US related to water resources and/or treatment technologies are invited to apply by March 1.
