The Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) just released its online Call for Engagement. Those pages highlight the thematic scope (water and waste: reduce and reuse) and seminar topics, as well as information on how to engage in the Week, for example, by presenting an abstract, convening an event or hosting a SIWI Sofa or showcase (new in 2017). Included is an overview of the main World Water Week deadlines, as well as a general schedule for the Week, which will help in travel planning. The submission deadline for seminars and events is January 22, 2017.
Young professionals who are under 35, passionate about water and want to expand their network while gaining valuable experience, should apply to the World Water Week’s Scientific Programme Committee. Being part of the committee provides professionals at the start of their careers with an exciting opportunity to collaborate with top level scientists and water professionals in developing the program of the world’s foremost water conference.
