Crookshank named Calgon Director
Calgon Carbon Corporation has hired Daniel E. Crookshank as Director of Investor Relations, replacing Gail Gerono, VP of Investor Relations, who retired in May. Reporting to CFO Steve Schott, Crookshank will manage investor relationships, quarterly results calls and also support the company’s finance department. He most recently served as Director of Investor Relations at RTI International Metals, Inc. Prior to that, Crookshank served as VP of Global Investor Relations at Mylan, Inc. and had an 18-year career with Rockwell Collins and Rockwell International. He also completed accounting assignments with National Steel Corporation and H.J. Heinz Corporation. Crookshank began his business career with the public accounting firm Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (Deloitte & Touche). He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration from Robert Morris University and an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
Motiff named Hellenbrand Sales Manager
Hellenbrand, Inc. recently named Ed Motiff, Master Water Specialist (MWS), Regional Sales Manager of the Western US Region. He will provide ongoing support to the current dealer base and also focus on new business development. Motiff has 12 years of industry experience, including residential and commercial production as well as customer service.
Nanda appointed Watts President, Americas
Watts Water Technologies, Inc. announced that Munish Nanda has joined the company as President, Americas, replacing Suellen Torregrosa. He comes to Watts Water from ITT Corporation, where he most recently served as President of Control Technologies and previously as Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain (including Operations and Supply Chain functions) for that company’s Fluid and Motion Control Group. Prior to joining ITT, Nanda held several operating leadership and general management positions with Thermo Fisher Scientific Corporation and Honeywell, Inc.
Hyson named to WSC Board
Jeff Hyson, Director of Sales for Pentair-Water Solutions, has been named to the Water Systems Council Board of Directors. Hyson joined Pentair in 2012 as Director of Sales for Pentair’s Electronic Protection business, where he managed the sales of Schroff brand products into diverse vertical market customer segments. Previously, he was Sales Process Director for the company’s Flow and Filtration Solutions global business unit and Director of National Accounts at Fluke Corporation, where he was responsible for managing the company’s top 20 distributor relationships. Hyson earned his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a BSEET from DeVry Institute of Technology.
WC&P mourns loss of Lasky
On March 26, Kenneth ‘Kenny’ John Lasky of Las Vegas, NV passed away due to natural causes. Born Sept. 12, 1959 in Racine, WI, the third child and first son of Fran Lasky and the late Kenneth P. Lasky, he grew up in Irvine, CA, where he enjoyed auto shop and getting into mischief with his friends. Lasky moved his family to Las Vegas, NV in 1996. He was active in his children’s lives, enjoyed time spent with them and took pride in their accomplishments. Daughter KC called him her ‘partner-in-crime.’ Lasky enjoyed monthly poker nights with the guys, family barbecues with close friends and was also an avid golfer. He is survived by his mother, Frances Lasky; children, Kevin Lasky and Kathryn ‘KC’ Lasky; three sisters; one brother and his uncle Hal. Lasky touched many lives and will be missed.
