The Cloudburst, a new device with the ability to produce pure drinking water from the air, is scheduled to be introduced nationally this month. The desktop, computer-sized unit is manufactured by AquaAir Technologies Inc. of Ogden, Utah, and distributed nationally by Water Resource Technology and regionally by Pure Quality Water Services Inc., of Leesburg, Fla. The technology uses a computer monitored moisture extraction process combined with a three-phase filtration and UV purification process.
