Alco Chemical introduces VERSA-FLEX® Si silica dispersant, a new polymer designed to prevent silica and silicate scales in industrial water treatment applications. Controlling both calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate at the higher pH levels, the polymer is ideal for modern cooling systems. Tests demonstrate that VERSAFLEX Si increases silica solubility by more than 2.5 times, enabling cooling systems to run at higher cycles of concentration without troublesome silica fouling.
